You briefly connect with nature and learn about the surrounding area. Outdoors, you gain knowledge within 3 miles of yourself. In caves or natural underground areas, the range is reduced to 300 feet. The spell does not work in places where nature has been replaced by construction, such as towns or dungeons.

You instantly learn up to three facts about the area, chosen from subjects such as terrain, water sources, common plants, minerals, animals, or peoples, powerful supernatural creatures, planar influence, or nearby buildings. For example, you could learn where safe drinking water is, where powerful undead are located, or whether a nearby settlement exists.

You press your hands into the earth; vines and flowers spiral around you. Glowing outlines map rivers, landmarks, and hidden paths within three miles—or 300 feet underground—unveiling the land’s intricate details.
