Poisons

In this catalog, the Poison item type is for substances applied to food and drink, typically so a target ingests them.

Given their insidious and deadly Nature, poisons are illegal in most societies but are a favorite tool among assassins, drow, and other evil creatures.

General rules for poisons:

• Uses The amount of uses a vial of poison has is one, or one dose.
• Applying Applying a poison requires an action.
• Duration The poison lasts for one minute on the weapon before it dries out, or loses its chemical potency.
• Charges After a successful hit or save attempt, the poison is used, or there is only one charge to the poisoned item.
