Excavating In archaeology, excavation is the exposure, processing and recording of archaeological remains. An excavation site or "dig" is the area being studied. These locations range from one to several areas at a time during a project and can be conducted over a few weeks to several years.
Farming Agriculture or Farming is the practice of cultivating plants and livestock.
Fishing Fishing is the activity of trying to catch fish. Fish are often caught as wildlife from the natural environment, but may also be caught from stocked bodies of water such as ponds, canals, park wetlands and reservoirs. Fishing techniques include hand-gathering, spearing, netting, angling, shooting and trapping, as well as more destructive and often illegal techniques such as electrocution, blasting and poisoning.
Herbalism The study or use of the medicinal properties of plants. Used in gathering plants reagents.
Hunting To chase or search for (game or other wild animals) for the purpose of catching or killing.

The GM might ask you to make a Hunting Skill Roll to follow tracks, hunt wild game, guide your group through frozen wastelands, identify signs that creature lives nearby, predict the weather, or avoid quicksand and other natural hazards.
Locks Lock picking is the practice of unlocking a lock by manipulating the components of the lock device without the original key.

Although lock-picking can be associated with criminal intent, it is an essential skill for the legitimate profession of locksmithing, and is also pursued by law-abiding citizens as a useful skill to learn, or simply as a hobby (locksport).
Mining Mining is the extraction of valuable geological materials from the Earth and other astronomical objects. Mining is required to obtain most materials that cannot be grown through agricultural processes, or feasibly created artificially in a laboratory or factory. Ores recovered by mining include metals, coal, oil shale, gemstones, limestone, chalk, dimension stone, rock salt, potash, gravel, and clay. Mining in a wider sense includes extraction of any non-renewable resource such as petroleum, natural gas, or even water.
Skinning Skinning is the act of skin removal. The process is done to animals, mainly as a means to prepare the meat beneath for Cooking and consumption, or to harvest the skin for making fur clothing or Tanning it to make leather. The skin may also be used as a trophy or taxidermy, sold on the fur market, or, in the case of a declared pest, used as proof of kill to obtain a bounty from a government health, agricultural, or game agency.
