A class is a part of the core identify of a Player Character (PC). Every adventurer or PC is a member of a class. Class broadly describes a character’s vocation, what special talents he or she possesses, and the tactics he or she is most likely to employ when exploring a dungeon, fighting monsters, or engaging in a tense negotiation.
Each of the classes has unique mechanics and exciting roleplaying possibilities which will govern how you progress in your campaign, making them a key component in your experience. Every choice comes with its own archetypes, playstyles, advantages and disadvantages, and, considering how much time you will be investing in your character, it’s vital to consider all options before you make a firm decision.
Every class has subclasses that add further specializations, flavor, and additional powers as you level up. This option to subclass varies on each class and level (Ex: Warlocks can subclass at level 1, while Priests can subclass at level 5).
A player can also multi-class, or have more than one class as they level up, and open up even more possibilities with their character. This opens up almost endless possibilities and combinations, meaning, as a players level up almost no two players are identical.
