You use a divining tool, such as gem-inlaid sticks, dragon bones, ornate cards, or something similar, to ask an otherworldly entity about a specific action you plan to take within the next 30 minutes. The GM answers with an omen: Weal for good results, Woe for bad results, Weal and Woe for mixed results, or Nothing if the outcome is not strongly good or bad.
If you use this spell more than once before your next long rest, each casting after the first has a cumulative 25% chance of giving a random reading instead of a true omen. The GM rolls this chance secretly.
You toss divining tools into the air; they scatter and settle. A subtle breeze stirs, ancient whispers fill the air. Symbols emerge, revealing whether your path holds fortune or misfortune.
