Inside this worn wooden box are partitions. One long section holds tiny jars of pigment, ink, and adhesive, as well as a stained palette. A narrow slot alongside contains brushes and sponges. A larger compartment holds hair, and smaller spaces have false teeth. In loops on the box’s top are a small mirror, scissors, and tweezers.
