Netherbound Possession

The Netherbound exists primarily in a semi-physical form on the material plane, bound to the shadows of reality. However, they can momentarily transcend this state, merging themselves and all of their belongings into a chosen creature or object. For a short time, the Netherbound becomes one with their target, able to perceive through its senses or subtly influence its form.

Possession Effects: While possessing a creature, the Netherbound may see, hear, and speak through the host’s senses. If the target is an object, they may subtly alter its appearance or create minor effects, like faint whispers or eerie glows. The Netherbound may only attempt minor, subtle actions to avoid drawing attention to their presence.

You watch as the Netherbound melds into the object—its edges soften, darkening like ink diffusing in water. A faint mist trails around it, and shadows pulse, hinting at strange whispers woven within the object's surface.
