While in the base rules, small and medium size creatures can use these weapons, armor, equipment and other objects of medium size interchangeably.
However, in the case of weight, this could be an issue for some players with low body, and if they wish, they can craft non-magical objects to be more manageable if they wish if they are small size at a preferred lower cost and weight.
