Dim Light
Light Type

  1. Dim light, also known as shadows, refers to an area that is partially obscured by a faint Illumination.
  2. Typically, this occurs along the boundary between a source of Bright Light, such as a torch, and the surrounding Pitch Black.
  3. Other examples of Dim Light include the soft illumination during dawn and twilight, as well as the faint glow cast by a full moon.
  4. However, it is important to note that in areas of Dim Light, such as those partially obscured by patchy fog or moderate foliage, creatures often have a harder time relying on their sense of sight.
  5. This results in DIS to Attention Skill Rolls that rely heavily on visual perception.
