This pine case with a leather closure opens into one deep side and one shallow. The deeper area has two corked ceramic jugs, a small copper pot, and a mortar and pestle. The other contains waxed leather pouches, a few vials, spoons, a small sickle, a syringe siphon, and flint and steel. A smaller box inside holds fresh corks. Leather belts and loops fasten these implements in place. The scent of pine and leather wafts from within, mixing with a hint of copper and yeast.
