The spell can penetrate most barriers, but it is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.

A peculiar sensation, courtesy of your spell, allows you to detect the subtle presence of toxic poisons and diseases nearby. Be it a concealed vial meant for a nefarious act, a creature's venomous bite, or a villager's nascent ailment, nothing escapes your awareness.
