The Dark Elves, in contrast to their distant cousins who strive for excellence, were once stripped of the Light of Creation due to their banishment or angering of the Gods through jealousy and betrayal. Bereft of the gift of the Titan, they have come to value life cheaply and resort to practices such as slavery, hedonism, sentient sacrifice, and self-indulgence in service of the Dark Powers to gain greater power and the hope of immortality.

They dwell in harsh, frigid environments deep beneath the earth or in the icy regions where few men dare to venture. Though they are skilled sailors, they often employ their talents in raiding and enslaving to serve their kings or offer sacrifices to their Dark Gods, achieving power through fear and submission.
