When you gaze long enough into the abyss—the abyss will gaze back into you. There is an oblivion beyond mortal perception. It has been there since before the creation of the multiverse, and even the gods fear it. Some - times, under exceptional circumstances, the thin veil between the world and this oblivion tears. Many cannot resist taking a peek—few recover from being confronted with the utter nothingness beyond, usually those with flexible and inquisitive minds. Those who do often come away... changed.
