The eyeball within this yellow-tinctured potion flits around nervously, its pupil dilating and contracting in rapid rhythm. As I wiggle and twist the cork, the eyeball fixates on me. Its pupil dilates fully as I remove the cork with a pop, and then it dissipates into the liquid. I drink it down quickly, and as soon as it splashes into my stomach, my vision blurs and my eyes sting. I blink to send these sensations away and, when my sight clears, I see the eyeball floating in the air before me, bouncing as if eager to begin its task.
