The essence of a dark god can be drawn from the void and imprisoned within a solid block of amber anchored to the Material Plane. This ritual requires two participants: a summoner and a binder.

Begin by using salt to inscribe a 50-foot-wide circle on the ground. This marks the perimeter along which the summoner will walk. Inside this circle, draw a smaller, connected circle—this is where the binder shall kneel.

Place the block of amber at the center of the larger circle. At its base, set the material representation of the entity to be bound—this may be a symbol, artifact, or relic tied to its essence.

When preparations are complete, the summoner positions themselves just inside the outer circle, while the binder takes their place within the inner circle. The summoner lights the sacred herbs within a censer and begins a clockwise march along the circle’s edge, chanting the true name of the entity they intend to summon.

As the veil begins to thin, the binder recites the sacred text aloud and pours consecrated blood over the bones of a saint. If the salt was properly laid, the summoned entity will be trapped within the circle’s confines, unable to harm the binder directly. However, the barrier is not unbreakable—it has an EC/AC of 10 and 100V. Distractions, protective wards, and bodyguards are highly recommended to prevent interference.

If the ritual is completed without disruption, the entity's essence is drawn into the amber. The bones and blood are consumed in the process, leaving only the sealed prison behind.

Arcane symbols glow, and mystical barriers reforge. The god's essence, once unleashed, is constrained anew, bound by ethereal chains and sealed within the divine prison, restoring cosmic balance.
