Bonds serve as powerful motivations that drive a character's actions and decisions, often leading them to go to great lengths to protect, reclaim, or preserve the object of their bond. These connections can be sentimental, personal, or even aspirational, and they add significant depth and emotional resonance to a character's backstory and role in the narrative.
