Your name is written in blood in the Tome of the Dead, and your Shinigami patron has secretely filled in the date you will die.
This is your destiny so far, but you cannot read the date, it appears as blury or hazy. Anyone who has Eyes of Death or in the extremely rare case they possess another Tome of the Dead, also cannot read it. Only your Shinigami knows, or another Shinigami can truly read it, and they are very reluctant to say the date to you.
Your soul now belongs to the God of Travel, especially when it comes fulfilling his God Task of death.
The first gift your patron has bestowed to you is you are now more resilient to being diseased and poisoned.
- You receive a Tome of the Dead.
- If the book is lost or stolen by another creature, and they write their name in blood in it to become the new owner, you lose all your powers as a Warlock, as your patron is now bound to the new owner.
- Only a creature who touches the Tome can see your Patron.
- Pages can be ripped out that posses the power of the Tome.
- The Tome never seems to run out of pages....
- The Shinigami can only serve the one owner of the Tome at a time.
- If you die, the Shinigami takes your Tome, and your soul is taken away. Unlike most creatures, once your body dies, you cannot be resurrected by anything short of a Wish Fulfillment spell. You now serve the God of Travels for all time.
