The Deeps: Flowing Mountains
Collapsed Tunnel
As you descend deeper into the mountain, the air grows damp and cold. The carved stone walls of the tunnel bear the unmistakable craftsmanship of dwarves—rugged yet elegant, with intricate runes etched into the surface. Their meaning is obscured by the passage of time, but the faint glow of some runes hints at lingering magic.
Ahead, your path is blocked by a wall of rubble. Massive chunks of stone, broken beams, and jagged boulders form an impassable barrier that stretches from floor to ceiling. Scorch marks mar the edges of the collapse, and scattered about are the remains of old mining tools—pickaxes, broken helmets, and the skeletal hand of a long-dead dwarf reaching out from beneath the debris.
