At your Reach, one
Curse affecting a
Target or object ends. If the object is a cursed
Magic item, its
Curse remains, but the
Spell breaks its owner's attunement to the object so it can be removed or discarded. However, this is also up to the dicression of the
GM to determine the power of the
Curse, then the required upcast might be required.
Most Curses can be more powerful. With a successful
Identify, or knowledge roll
Magic, the
Curse can be identified. Thus requiring the
Caster to upcast using
Mana equal to, this is:
Curse
Spell level + 1. This also requires a similar roll to
Dispel Magic, and
Counterspell, using the
Spell
Attack Roll of the decurser vs. the
DC of the curser spellcasting, meeting or beating the
DC is required to remove the
Curse.
There might be also certain prerequisites written in the Curse description, or
GM discretion, to be met before before this
Spell to work, otherwise this
Spell fails.
You reach out, your hand glowing softly as you touch the cursed target. The air around it shimmers briefly, and a faint crackling sound signals the curse breaking. The target feels unbound, free from the lingering magic.
