Brambleclaw, a grotesque fusion of shadow and flesh, emerges as a nefarious toad-like enforcer. Created through vile rituals, it serves its dark master without remorse. This monstrous kidnapper leaves only sticky residue and shadowy traces upon its fleeting demise, a haunting legend in the Ethereal Plane.

The Brambleclaw is a fearsome creature, born from a vile fusion of shadow and flesh. This monstrous bipedal toad-like being is the result of dark magic, serving as a thug, thief, and kidnapper under the command of its creator.

Hags have developed a ritual to create Brambleclaws, and those who seek their knowledge can learn the process for a price. Other wicked Fey, powerful Fiends, and some mortal mages are also aware of this process.

Throughout its short existence, a Brambleclaw dutifully carries out its creator's commands, unconcerned with the harm it inflicts upon others or the suffering it endures. When given a lock of hair, a personal item, or any object connected to its target, it becomes an even greater threat as it can sense the creature's location from up to a mile away.

A Brambleclaw remains committed to its duties until its demise, typically a few days after its birth. Upon its death, it leaves behind only a sticky residue and faint traces of shadow. Legends speak of an ominous tower in the Ethereal Plane, where shadows occasionally reform, and Brambleclaws roam its corridors.
