Unless Surprised, a Target can avert its eyes at the start of its Turn to avoid the Contesting Roll. If the Target does so, it can't see the Caster until the start of its next Turn, when it can avert its eyes again. All Attack Rolls against the Caster are at DIS while the eyes are averted.
You see the creature's form shimmer, her radiance intensifying until it's blinding. The light pulses outward, dazzling and disorienting, making it impossible to see anything but her overwhelming, luminescent beauty.
