Wizard can Channel
Mastery (by using their class abilities of:
Minor Channel,
Adept Channel, and
Major Channel) building power drawn of the void and redirecting its power into abilities or spells.
Hold onto Mastery from a previous turn, without powering it up, or releasing it during your current turn, is dangerous.
If a Wizard is
Holding Mastery until the end of their next turn, the caster has to make a
Contesting Roll:
Psyche vs.
Bending Weapon Skill vs their own skills. This uses the
Hold onto Mastery logic.
Upon success, no negative effect occurs.
If the caster fails the contesting roll, they take Force Damage, all
Mastery charges, and
Concentrating
Spells are lost.
