Curse

This creature is cursed to view the horrors that lay beyond the shadow. You mark a creature with an Invisible Curse, which only emerges when they go to sleep.

When this creature sleeps, they travel to an unknown land filled with Aberrations and perceive everything through one of these beings eyes. When the creature awakes, they remember everything vividly and must roll an Soul Contesting Roll or become Exhausted and do not benefit from a Long Rest.

You mark the creature with an invisible curse. Each time they slumber, their mind drifts to an alien landscape, viewing through the eyes of aberrations. Upon waking, the vivid memories haunt them, leaving them exhausted and unrested if they fail a soul contesting roll.
