The Echoing Cavern - The Echoing Cavern

The tunnel opens into a large, vaulted cavern with towering, jagged rock formations that stretch like stalagmites and stalactites. The sound of every step and whisper is amplified, bouncing off the walls in distorted echoes that make it hard to pinpoint their origin. Pockets of faint red and blue bioluminescent fungi cling to the walls, casting a dim, eerie glow that creates deep shadows. The air is cooler here but thick with the unsettling sensation of being watched.
In the center of the cavern lies a stone altar, cracked and scorched, as if subjected to intense heat. Strange runes are etched into its surface, pulsating faintly with an orange glow. Broken weapons, charred bones, and scattered remnants of past conflicts litter the ground around it.
