A vast, yawning pit dominates the center of this chamber, its depths shrouded in impenetrable darkness. The edges of the stone floor crumble and flake like old parchment, as if time itself gnawed away at them. A faint, foul breeze rises from below, carrying with it an unsettling noise – a mix of distant hissing and scraping sounds. Something waits… far below.
