The Deeps: South Road

The Molten Pool - The Molten Pool

The tunnel widens into a vast cavern dominated by a bubbling pool of molten lava at its center. Jagged stone platforms and narrow ledges form a precarious path across the chamber. The intense heat warps the air, causing distant edges of the room to shimmer and blur. Along the walls, veins of molten rock glow faintly, spilling into the pool and casting an ominous orange-red hue throughout the space. The sound of bubbling lava echoes off the cavern walls, punctuated by the occasional hiss of steam from vents scattered around the edges.
A faint glimmer near the far end of the chamber suggests something valuable lies hidden on a ledge across the molten expanse.
