Grasslands are wide, open plains with tall grasses and minimal tree cover. Visibility is excellent, but the lack of natural barriers leaves travelers exposed to weather and predators. Seasonal rains may turn the ground muddy, while wildfires can spread rapidly. Herds of animals often migrate through, providing hunting opportunities.
