Mephits are enigmatic, impish entities hailing from the elemental planes. These mischievous creatures come in six distinct varieties, with each type representing the fusion of two elements, resulting in a unique blend of characteristics and abilities.

Mephits are known as ageless tricksters, thriving in large numbers within the Elemental Planes and the turbulent Elemental Chaos. Yet, they also have a curious affinity for the Material Plane, where they establish their presence in locations that resonate with their elemental nature.

Appearance:
Mephits are compact, sprite-like beings, each with distinct, vibrant features that mirror their elemental composition. They are small and sprightly, sporting ephemeral wings that allow them to float gracefully. For example, a magma mephit might appear as a diminutive humanoid wrapped in fiery, molten rock, while an ice mephit resembles a frosty, translucent creature that sparkles like a winter's night.
