Columns of stone stretching from top to bottom of a cave system.
Dripping water carves slender calcite fingers from the cave ceiling, each stalactite elongating over eons into jagged spears that pierce the humid gloom. Below, stalagmites swell from the floor in bulbous, ridged towers, their surfaces slick with mineral sheen and etched by faint, twisting veins. Joined pillars rise seamless and immense, cool to the touch, fragile lattices humming with the cave's ancient breath.
