Origins and Nature
Abyssfolk are a distinct sub-species of Devilfolk and Demonfolk, predominantly descended from Succubi and Incubi. These beings, originally denizens of Abyss, have since gained autonomy and now roam the world of Zin. Their free will sets them apart from their hellish brethren, allowing them to pursue their desires and interests independently.
Physical Appearance
In their natural form, Abyssfolk possess a striking, otherworldly beauty. Their skin often has a subtle, almost ethereal glow, hinting at their demonic origins. Their eyes are typically vivid and mesmerizing, capable of entrancing those who meet their gaze. Though they can disguise themselves to appear human, certain features—such as a slight shimmer to their skin or the intensity of their eyes—may betray their true nature.
Society and Culture
Abyssfolk society is fluid and lacks the rigid hierarchies seen in other demonic cultures. Instead, they form loose networks based on mutual interest and shared goals. Despite their individualistic tendencies, they often congregate in small groups, finding strength in numbers while still valuing their autonomy.
Relations with Other Races
While Abyssfolk are inherently demonic, their ability to disguise themselves and their charm allows them to interact with other races without immediate hostility. However, once their true nature is revealed, they often face mistrust and fear. Despite this, their knowledge and magical abilities can make them valuable allies in the right circumstances.
