A key feature of Metamorphs is their
Ability to
Shapeshift into other living or non-living objects.
It can
Shapeshift into any creature it has touched (unlike Dopplegangers which can do it by sight alone).
For living objects, like most other shapeshifting creatures, it must
Reach a creature to be able to
Shapeshift into it, and successfully make a
Medicine
Skill Roll. It does NOT absorb the personality, memory, or mannerisms of the creature.
Unlike most shapeshifting abilities, it does NOT gain the abilities of the creature, only mimics their appearance, including the appearance of armor or clothes, however it is still a metallic
Ooze underneath a lair of mimicked skin. When touching the Metamoprh while it is shapeshifted, can feel like the object though, but does not gain hardness,
EC,
AC of the creature. It is only, skin deep. It can change its voice to match that of a creature, but must know what the creature sounds like, usually by the
Medicine
Skill Roll.
The hardest material it can
Turn into is roughly
Iron, represented by the
Body of the
Caster. The softest material is typically a type of gel.
For living, and non-living objects, it must
Shapeshift into equal weight and size typically, it can only moderately change its density.
The
Caster must make an
Inspection
Skill Roll for more complex creatures or objects to transform into.
It CANNOT
Shapeshift into complex machines, like guns, or explosives, which have chemical reactions, or moving parts.
However, Metamorphs can transform into solid metal shapes. Such as turning its hands into knives, swords, and stabbing weapons.
Metamorphs can
Shapeshift into creatures that have
Flight. Any movement type, not natural to the Metamorph is capped to their
Walking Speed.
Metamorphs are not restricted by
Creature Type or creature sub type that they can
Shapeshift into.
