Murder Hole, Stone
Heavy stone slab (150–300 lbs) forming a castle murder hole. Installed in gatehouse ceilings; defenders above drop rocks, oil, or arrows through it onto trapped attackers below. Removable for maintenance by 2–3 workers.
A thick granite slab looms overhead, its central hole gaping like a dark maw. Rough-hewn edges scrape fingers; iron pry-bars groan as the 250-pound block shifts, revealing the void ready to rain stones and scalding death below.
The object is immovable, securely bolted to its surroundings, or too large to be moved. It may only be destroyed or harvested.
