If the blob is reduced to 0 Vitality, it implodes and ejects any creatures and objects engulfed by it into the Astral Plane. The ooze itself vanishes, leaving behind a layer of slime on everything that was within 600 feet of it. In 1d20 years, the ooze reconstitutes on a random world in the Material Plane.
You watch the mass collapse inward, folding in on itself with a wet roar. Anything it touched vanishes in a flash of pale light. What's left is silence, and slick slime coating every surface.
