The typical Mirelarian has an amphibious or crustacean-like appearance, with the most notable subtype being the Mirelurk. These creatures possess hard, segmented shells and large pincer-like claws. Their coloration ranges from murky browns and greens to camouflage seamlessly with their environment. They have multiple eyes on stalks, providing a wide field of vision.

Aquatic Ancestry

The Mirelarians have evolved from a variety of water-dwelling creatures, including crabs, amphibians. Over centuries, these creatures adapted to their murky, often stagnant habitats, developing traits that allowed them to thrive in such conditions.

Resilient & Weakness

The environments Mirelarians inhabit are often rife with disease, leading to their innate sturdiness against the sharpest blade to the fastest arrows. However, loud noises can deter them from approaching to even harming them.

Territorial Swarmers

Mirelarians are highly territorial and will aggressively defend their homes from intruders. They often live in large groups, using their numbers to overwhelm much larger foes. Their social structure revolves around family bonds.
