The tiny gnome's skin gleams like polished steel, etched with razor-thin runes that slice the air as he waves his fingers. Illusory blades flicker into existence around him, translucent edges humming with deceptive sharpness, mirroring his sly grin. His eyes, twin sparks of mischief, bend light into phantom daggers that vanish on contact.
These razor gnomes specialize in the illusory magical arts. They enjoy sowing confusion and fear among their enemies’ ranks. In combat, they cast duplicate images of themselves and then use their magic to manifest their victims’ deepest fears in their own minds.

While gnomes are fairly common in the Fey Plane, razor gnomes are much rarer. These communities of gnomes have rejected their ancestral ways in favor of warfare, pain, and suffering. Razor gnomes often align themselves with nefarious factions, such as the Vex’Mortem Fey, as it allows them to put their evil talents to use.
Razor gnomes are named such because of the multitude of razors that protrude from their leather armor and skin. As part of a rite of passing into the warrior caste, razor gnomes embed razors all about their skin, eventually causing them to become acclimated to and unaffected by pain. Razor gnomes’ weapons of choice are war picks and flails.
