Azarati Illusory Appearance

Ability

While remaining still, the caster covers itself and anything it is wearing or carrying with a magical illusion that makes it look like a plant of its general size. The illusion ends if the caster takes moves or attacks.

The changes made by this effect fail to hold up to physical inspection. For example, the Azarati could appear to be a shrubbery, but someone touching it would instead feel its humanoid body. Otherwise, a creature must take an action to visually inspect the illusion and succeed check to discern that the caster is disguised.

Leaves shimmer faintly, their edges flickering like heat waves. Thorny vines coil over bark-like skin, pulsing subtly. A breeze stirs the illusion, revealing no scent, only a faint hum of magic beneath.
