🦎 Distinctive Features

A green dragon is marked by its sleek, curved jawline and a prominent crest that rises near its eyes, flowing down its spine to peak just behind its skull. Lacking external ears, it bears leathery, spiked plates along its neck. A wyrmling’s scales are a deep, near-black green, but as it matures, they grow larger and shift to vibrant shades of forest, emerald, and olive, blending seamlessly with its wooded domain. Its wings, dappled with darker hues at the leading edges and lighter at the trailing ones, enhance its camouflage. With legs proportionately longer than those of other dragons, it glides effortlessly over underbrush, while its elongated neck allows older dragons to peer over treetops without rising.

Sly and calculating, green dragons bend others to their will by exploiting their deepest desires. Any creature attempting to tame one soon learns the dragon is merely feigning servitude while plotting against its would-be master.
