Patron Of War Patron of War

The Pact of War binds a warlock to a martial entity—an ancient weapon-god, a battleborn devil, or a forgotten war spirit. These warlocks are forgers of conquest, clad in steel and driven by will. Their pact grants them strength beyond mortal limits, fusing arcane might with unrelenting martial prowess. They are not merely casters, but walking siege weapons.

Weapons of Will

Warlocks of the War Patron wield blades and magic in tandem. They wear heavy armor with ease, moving like seasoned knights while unleashing spells that enhance strikes or disrupt formations. Their power feeds on violence—each kill or clash fueling their arcane reservoir. Their presence on the field is unmistakable: their weapons shimmer with binding glyphs, and their armor thrums with latent force.

Champions of Blood and Oath

These warlocks stand at the center of battle, shrugging off spellfire and sundering enemies with empowered strikes. Their magic enforces battlefield control—locking foes into duels, punishing retreat, and empowering allies through sheer presence. They can deflect spells with cursed plate, teleport into enemy lines, or deliver smites that tear through wards.

Keepers of the Warlord's Brand

Every warlock of this pact bears a sigil—a mark branded into armor, skin, or soul—that binds them to their patron’s command. These sigils glow in combat, pulse during victory, and sear when cowardice is shown. Some can call phantom banners into being, commanding spectral soldiers or drawing reinforcements from beyond.

Engines of Attrition

The War Patron values endurance and domination. Their warlocks resist pain, shrug off wounds, and fight long past what seems possible. Their pacts allow them to fight without sleep, survive lethal wounds, or keep marching for days without slowing. They do not retreat—they advance, again and again, until the ground itself breaks.

Heirs to Endless War

Death does not release these warlocks. Upon death, they may rise again in spectral armor, or their weapons might animate and continue the battle. Legends speak of warlocks whose blood cursed entire battlefields, rendering enemy weapons brittle and their minds fractured with echoes of lost wars.
