Zombie Fever

A fever with a usual duration of one to two days, this ailment is transmitted through the slime and mucus present on undead zombies, often coating their mouths and skin. The infectious zombie spreads the disease as its mucus permeates the skin pores. Should the afflicted creature perish, they undergo a transformation, rising as a formidable zombie warrior.
In cases where a necromancer is responsible for the infecting zombie, the reanimated corpse falls under the complete control of that necromancer.
